Founder
Janae Duclos, PhD, is a researcher, Professor of Education, and passionate advocate for students with disabilities. As the sister of an individual with Autism, Janae witnessed through first-hand experience the unique needs and challenges that students and families face during the planning process to and through adulthood. With over 20 years of professional experience in special education, Janae understands the importance of balancing compliance with compassion and has dedicated her research, service, and lifelong work to supporting students and the people who serve them.
With her unique personal and professional experience and dedication to helping others, Janae created “Conversation Cue Cards” also known as C3 For Me. These interactive and engaging cards provide a way for students with disabilities to participate meaningfully in their education by communicating their preferences, strengths, and interests to set and achieve attainable goals and plan for life after high school.
